Nepali households eat together and eat late, and the dining table often doubles as a homework desk and a place to fold laundry. We build tables with thick, properly seasoned tops that do not cup or split when the room swings from monsoon damp to dry winter heating.
Price depends on size and wood — a compact four-seater in Sal costs less than a six-seater teak set with upholstered chairs. Chairs can be bought separately if you already have a table you like; call us for a fixed quote.
We also make extendable and folding tables for apartments where the dining area is really a corner of the living room.

How to choose a dining table
Allow 24 inches per person
A 5ft table seats six only if two sit at the ends. For six comfortable side seats, choose 6ft. Leave 3ft behind chairs for walking space.
Top thickness matters
A 25mm solid top resists warping far better than an 18mm one. If budget is tight, choose a thicker top in Sal rather than a thin top in teak.
Chair seat height and back angle
18 inches seat height with a slightly reclined back is right for long family meals. Try the chairs in our Imadol showroom before finalising.
Finish for food and water
PU matt seals against water rings and turmeric stains, which raw oil finishes do not. Ask for PU if children eat at the table.

- Sal: hardest and best value for tops that get daily use.
- Teak: premium, stable, ages to a deep honey colour.
- Sheesham: attractive grain, mid-priced, best for four-seater sizes.
- Toughened glass tops and powder-coated metal bases for modern interiors.
Care and maintenance in Nepal's climate
- Use mats under hot pots — even PU finishes mark above 90°C.
- Wipe spills immediately; turmeric and achar stain untreated wood in minutes.
- Re-polish a solid wood top every three to four years to restore the seal.
- Tighten chair joints yearly; chairs loosen faster than tables in every household.

Intercity cargo to Pokhara, Butwal, Chitwan and the eastern cities with corner protection.
Two-year joinery warranty; glass breakage after delivery is not covered.
