Vouchers can be purchased in person at our Imadol showroom or arranged over a phone call followed by digital payment confirmation, which is common for relatives ordering from outside the Kathmandu Valley or from abroad. At purchase, you choose a voucher tier by name, confirm whether you want a printed or digital format, and tell us the occasion so we can match the presentation style — a Dashain or Tihar gift envelope looks different from a wedding or griha pravesh presentation card.

We ask for the recipient's name and ceremony date so our showroom team can note it against the voucher record.

A printed voucher is produced on card stock with the recipient's name, the occasion, and an optional short message from the giver, then placed in a presentation envelope suitable for handing over during a ceremony — at a wedding stage, a pasni gathering, or a housewarming puja. We can also add a small ribbon or seal on request for weddings and bratabandha gifts, where presentation matters as much as the gift itself.

For business openings, we offer a simpler branded card format better suited to a shubha labh ribbon-cutting.

For relatives who cannot attend in person — commonly family members working abroad who still want to contribute to a sibling's wedding or a nephew's bratabandha — we send a digital voucher directly to the recipient's or giver's Viber or WhatsApp number as a PDF with a unique voucher code. The giver can forward it themselves with a personal message, or ask us to send it directly to the recipient closer to the ceremony date for a surprise reveal.

Digital vouchers carry the same redemption rules as printed ones; the recipient simply shows the PDF or reads out the voucher code at our showroom counter instead of presenting a physical card.

Every voucher carries a printed or digitally noted validity period from the date of issue, and we recommend redeeming it well before that window closes, particularly if the recipient plans to order a made-to-order or custom piece that needs production lead time on top of the redemption itself. Vouchers are redeemed only at our Imadol showroom, either against ready stock or as a deposit toward a custom order confirmed with our design team.

A voucher cannot be exchanged for cash and is redeemed in a single visit unless our showroom team agrees to split it across two purchases, which we accommodate case by case for larger tier vouchers used toward multiple smaller items.

Yes. Because a voucher is tied to a code rather than a fixed identity check, the original recipient can pass it on to another family member if their own furniture needs change — for instance, a pasni voucher gifted to a young child is naturally used by the parents on the child's behalf, and a wedding voucher can be reassigned between the couple and their parents if the household is combining several ceremony gifts into one larger purchase.

We simply ask that whoever redeems the voucher bring the physical card or digital code and be prepared to confirm the occasion it was issued for, mainly so our showroom records stay accurate for any warranty or delivery follow-up.

Furniture prices vary by size, wood, and finish, so it is common for a chosen piece to sit above or below a voucher's tier. If the selected item costs more than the voucher covers, the recipient simply settles the difference at the showroom counter using any payment method we accept. If the chosen piece costs less, we can either issue a smaller replacement voucher for the remaining amount or apply the balance toward accessories, delivery, or a second smaller item in the same visit — whichever the recipient prefers. No cash refund is given for an unused balance.
